We are recruiting a Refuse / Recycling LGV Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation. The role involves:
- Driving LGV and non-LGV vehicles on waste and recycling collection routes
- Collecting domestic and commercial waste, including bulky items
- Leading and supporting a crew while on route
- Completing daily vehicle checks and required paperwork
- Working safely in line with road traffic and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Category C driving licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Experience in driving LGV vehicles and manual handling
- Good awareness of health & safety, especially working on highways
- Reliable, team-focused with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays when required
This is a physically active role requiring good stamina and a professional approach when dealing with members of the public.
