The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As part of a small and dedicated maintenance team you will be required to undertake all aspects of test facility automation and controls system repairs. The role also includes supporting the access control and CCTV systems onsite and consulting with our onsite IT team to keep these critical systems online.
Duties:
- Diagnosis of faults within automation and controls systems and their associated instrumentation and safety systems.
- Undertake maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant in accordance with the agreed maintenance regime, including scheduling new tasks.
- Ensuring that machinery and equipment meet safety regulations.
- Intervening in the event of breakdowns, failures, or malfunctions - Diagnose & repair as required to agreed SLAs.
- Fault finding and installation of access control and CCTV hardware.
- Consult with and manage suppliers and contractors to ensure the best possible service is delivered to the company.
Skills & Experience:
- A comprehensive understanding of electrical control systems, their structure, function, and their components is required.
- In-depth knowledge of complex mechanical, and electromechanical equipment.
- Ideally time served or City & Guilds or BTEC National qualifications.
