An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations and Maintenance Supervisor to join a dynamic team at a leading waste processing facility.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant daily operations. Supporting the Operations & Maintenance Manager, you’ll drive performance, maintain compliance, and promote continuous improvement across the site. You’ll also contribute to achieving operational targets and maintaining budgetary control over operations and maintenance functions.
What You Will Bring
- Completion of an apprenticeship and/or experience in mechanical maintenance or a mechanical bias.
- Proven experience in the waste processing industry or similar environment.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Strong leadership and resource management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of waste processing machinery and systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Understanding of safe systems of work.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Financial management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with business systems such as CMMS, financial systems, SharePoint, and time management systems.
