What the role involves:
- Completing 5-10 home deliveries per shift, transporting bulk items safely and efficiently
- Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle to deliver products directly from Wickes stores to customers' homes
- Following all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Delivering excellent customer service at every drop
- Flexibility with start times to meet operational requirements
- Working from your base store while covering deliveries across nearby areas and partner stores
What you'll need:
- A full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC
- A current HIAB licence - ALLMI C5
- Strong communication skills and confidence in customer-facing situations
- A positive, adaptable approach and the ability to work independently
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Willingness to complete a DBS check as part of the onboarding process
