About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shift EIC Technician to join a busy waste treatment facility in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with expertise in electrical, instrumentation and control systems to play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the site. Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining plant assets and associated infrastructure, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities, supporting operational teams, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance across electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
- Respond to equipment failures and process faults to minimise downtime.
- Monitor, record and adjust plant systems in line with operational requirements.
- Support the operation of site control systems, including SCADA.
- Assist with basic control room and weekend weighbridge duties when required.
- Coordinate contractor activities.
