We are looking for HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for an exciting new opportunity on behalf of our client based in Southampton, SO40 ! Salary HGV Class 1 Container Driver (Days) - £17.00 per hour. HGV Class 1 Container Driver (Nights)- £19.00 per hour. 1.5x after 40 hours, 1.5x on weekends, 2x on Bank holidays. All PAYE ensures holiday is accrued on the side! About the Role This is an opportunity to work with an established container distribution client based near the ports in Southampton! Your role as a Class 1 Driver would be transporting and collecting containers on a Trunk run basis! This role involves no manual handling, but it is essential that loads are secured safely. Start times vary as they are a 24/7 operation. This is typically a Monday to Friday assignment, however there can be the occasional weekend shifts.
