An exciting vacancy has arisen within their Engineering team for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician with an Electrical bias. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the main purpose of this role is to support with planned maintenance and corrective activities.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Maintain and find fault with a wide variety of automated industrial plant and process equipment including stainless steel fabrication, CNC/Robotic machinery, metal forming/press tool machinery, assembly plant, powder coating paint plant, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Completion of a recognisable apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering is essential
- Hydraulic + Pneumatic experience desirable
- Proven mechanical fitting experience in an industrial maintenance engineering environment
- Able to read and follow mechanical/electrical drawings
- Minimum of a Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship
- Competent with bench and machine fitting
- A proven working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Competent with lifting/slinging
- Capable of working unsupervised when alone or as part of the team
- PC literate
- Basic welding competence (preferable but not essential)
- FLT driving license/experience (preferable but not essential)
- IPAF license to drive MEWPs i.e. scissor/boom lifts (preferable but not essential)
- Current driving licence
They offer up to five working weeks holidays in addition to the standard UK bank holidays, and also offer the option to buy additional holidays. The shift pattern will be a rotating 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm Monday - Friday. The salary banding will be £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. Optional overtime can be available at the weekend, paid at time and a half. This is a direct permanent role.
