The RoleAs a Catering Assistant, you will support the kitchen team to deliver a high-quality food service, ensuring excellent standards of hygiene and customer service.
Duties will include: Basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients)Serving food and drinks to customersCleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areasSetting up and clearing service areas and dining spacesWashing up and maintaining a clean, safe working environmentSupporting with stock rotation and deliveriesFollowing all food hygiene and health & safety proceduresRequirementsPrevious catering or kitchen experience preferred but not essentialA positive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a teamGood communication skills and reliabilityUnderstanding of food hygiene standards (training can be provided)Food handlers must follow strict hygiene practices and safety procedures to ensure food is safe to eat.
