We're recruiting for a hands-on Stock Controller to join a growing logistics operation in Borough Green & Wrotham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in organisation, accuracy, and running a tight ship. You'll be responsible for managing stock on a key operational area (mezzanine floor), working closely with logistics and technical teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The Role

  • Inventory Control
    • Validate incoming stock and manage transfers (IN/OUT)
    • Maintain accurate stock records across ERP systems
    • Carry out stock counts and resolve discrepancies
    • Allocate and manage storage locations
  • Stock Handling & Distribution
    • Process stock pick requests
    • Support the technical team with parts and stock allocation
    • Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and in real time
  • Mezzanine Management
    • Take full ownership of organisation and layout
    • Ensure stock is clearly labelled and easy to locate
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety
  • Operational Support
    • Work closely with logistics and technical teams
    • Help improve processes and efficiency
    • Support delivery timelines and service levels

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in stock control, warehouse or logistics
  • Experience using ERP / stock systems (e.g. Odoo, SAP, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisation and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Confident working independently and taking ownership
  • Basic to intermediate Excel / IT skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Bonus (not essential): Forklift licence
