Are you experienced in repairing electronic equipment and looking for a hands-on technical role within a growing business? We are recruiting for a Workshop Technician to join a specialist repair and refurbishment operation based in Borough Green. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working on electronic devices, IT hardware, EPOS equipment, payment terminals, mobile devices or similar technology products who enjoys fault finding, diagnostics and repair work. The Role Working as part of a busy workshop team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and testing a range of retail technology and electronic devices, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed service levels. Key duties include: Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a variety of electronic equipment Testing and quality checking devices before dispatch Supporting daily workshop operations and productivity targets Accurately recording repair activity and updating internal systems Investigating recurring technical faults and escalating issues where required Following established repair, testing and quality procedures Working closely with operational teams to meet customer deadlines and priorities About You We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience in a technical repair environment and enjoy solving problems. Ideal experience: Electronics, IT hardware or device repair experience Fault finding and diagnostic skills Experience repairing EPOS, payment devices, mobile phones, laptops, tablets or similar equipment Strong attention to detail Good organisational and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Desirable Skills Experience using calibration or specialist diagnostic software Previous repair work on circuit boards, handheld devices or payment technology Soldering or component-level repair experience What's on Offer?
