About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Management Accountant to support a well-established organisation in Newport during a period of transition. This role offers hands-on involvement across reporting, budgeting, cashflow, pricing analysis and statutory compliance. You will be a key member of the finance team, helping ensure smooth continuity of core financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all required reporting for the central finance team accurately and on time.
- Manage the Budget Holder reporting process, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Monitor expenditure against budgets and support accountability across departments.
- Produce accurate and timely management accounts.
- Maintain a live cashflow forecast and report variances.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Carry out pricing walk analysis including discount, rebate and promotion viability.
- Ensure Master Data accuracy and support updates.
- Produce clear and well-presented financial information for stakeholders.
- Submit required data to external stakeholders (National Statistics, PWC for Czech VAT and Intrastat).
- Complete monthly control account and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Complete VAT and other statutory returns.
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
