Are you a budding Supervisor that loves working in the buzz of a local country pub or want to get into the pub trade from a previous hospitality background? This role is working in a small country pub with 50 seats and a beer garden which serves delicious pub classics all using fresh ingredients. This is a privately owned pub where the Owners will be on site operating the pub but they also need a trusted supervisor to support the running of the pub and delight the customers with fantastic service.

The job comes with 2.5 days off per week, sometimes 3 days off with splits during the week and straight shifts at the weekends. During the split, there is a staff room and things to do. This role will only encompass working 40 hours per week.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Run shifts to ensure the service runs smoothly
  • Deputise for the owners when they are not there
  • Train and develop the team
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Be attentive to customer’s needs

Supervisor Requirements:

  • Experience in restaurant supervision/management in a quality food led hospitality environment
  • Good understanding of food and efficient service
  • Excellent food knowledge
  • Dedicated to and passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
