Blue Arrow are recruiting for an experienced Labourer/Installer to join an expanding company in West Lothian. We are looking for someone eager to build a long-term career in construction within their industry. Joining a dynamic team, receiving high-quality training, and progressing through a structured development programme. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, landscaping, carpentry, or a similar hands-on trade.
Duties
- Carry out general labouring, ground works, kerbing, excavation, landscaping and fencing.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and effectively.
- Set out and measure sites prior to installations.
- Assemble any equipment according to manufacturers instructions, specifications and company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols and always adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Working outdoors on site around Scotland.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card.
- Machine tickets up to 10T, digger and dumper.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment.
- Full clean, manual driving licence.
- Minimum 5 years experience in relevant construction industry discipline.
- Strong work ethic, reliable and attention to quality and safety.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy items and work in various environments.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake basic disclosure. This is a permanent role, working within a team of 3 or 4 staff, Monday to Friday, overtime is available. Hours - 45 hours per week, plus travel time. All hours over 45 are paid at overtime rate.
