Our client, a well-established operation based in Grangemouth, is looking for an experienced Traffic Planner to join their team in a fast-paced office environment. This is a key role within the operation, managing day-to-day transport planning while ensuring full compliance and excellent customer service.

The role

  • Managing 10 vehicles operating from the site
  • Planning and routing vehicles across Scotland
  • Ensuring full compliance with O-Licence conditions, driver hours and transport regulations
  • Scheduling driver routes, workforce planning and sickness management
  • Monitoring and managing driver infringements
  • Liaising daily with internal teams, customers and external suppliers
  • Planning backloads where possible to maximise vehicle efficiency
  • Delivering a first-class service to clients at all times

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Traffic Planner / Transport Planner
  • Strong knowledge of driver hours, compliance and O-Licence regulations
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy office environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Flexible, proactive and customer-focused approach

Hours of work

  • Monday to Friday, 8am start
  • Flexibility is essential to meet operational demands
  • This will include earlier start times (from 5:30am) when required
