The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
Working closely with the Transport and Operations team, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day planning of 10 vehicles operating from site
- Assisting with vehicle routing across Scotland
- Updating and maintaining transport systems and paperwork
- Supporting compliance with O-Licence conditions, driver hours and transport regulations
- Monitoring driver infringements and reporting issues
- Assisting with driver scheduling, holidays and sickness cover
- Liaising daily with drivers, internal teams, customers and external suppliers
- Helping to plan backloads to maximise vehicle utilisation
- Providing a professional, reliable service to customers at all times
Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to develop into a Traffic Planner role for the right individual.
What We're Looking For
- A keen and motivated individual with an interest in transport and logistics
- Previous experience in a transport, logistics or administrative role is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Ability to work calmly in a busy office environment
- A proactive, flexible and team-focused approach
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am start
- Flexibility is essential to meet operational demands
- This may include earlier starts (from 5:30am) when required
