Our client, a well‑established operation based in Grangemouth, is looking for an experienced Traffic Planner to join their team in a fast‑paced office environment. This is a key role within the operation, managing day‑to‑day transport planning while ensuring full compliance and excellent customer service.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing 10 vehicles operating from the site
- Planning and routing vehicles across Scotland
- Ensuring full compliance with O‑Licence conditions, driver hours and transport regulations
- Scheduling driver routes, workforce planning and sickness management
- Monitoring and managing driver infringements
- Liaising daily with internal teams, customers and external suppliers
- Planning backloads where possible to maximise vehicle efficiency
- Delivering a first‑class service to clients at all times
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Traffic Planner / Transport Planner
- Strong knowledge of driver hours, compliance and O‑Licence regulations
- Ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy office environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexible, proactive and customer‑focused approach
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am start. Flexibility is essential to meet operational demands. This will include earlier start times (from 5:30am) when required.
