Blue Arrow Bellshill are looking for Class 1 Drivers to work for a retailer based in Motherwell. The roles will involve delivering palletised products or items on rails to stores or RDCs and there will be no heavy lifting involved. You will be completing between 1-4 drops daily.
We are looking for drivers to work on day shifts (start times between 3am-9am) or afternoons (start times between 10am-3pm). Due to insurance purposes, drivers will need to have at least 2 years of experience driving Class 1 lorries.
Pay Rates:
- £16.85 per hour basic rate
- Overtime after 45 hours per week paid at £22 per hour
- You will accrue holiday pay on top of hourly rate.
All drivers will need to complete a driving assessment before starting work, the assessment will consist of a theory questionnaire and a practical drive around the area.
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience driving Class 1 vehicles
- Valid UK C+E or C licence, up to date CPC and Digi Tacho cards
- No more than 6 points for minor offences
- Working knowledge of WTD and highway code
- Good geographical knowledge
- Good level of spoken and written English
