We are looking for a reliable and safety‑focused 7.5‑tonne driver to support essential transport operations within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering medical supplies, equipment, pharmacy items, and other goods across the hospital site and to associated healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate a 7.5‑tonne vehicle in line with NHS and road safety regulations
- Transport supplies to departments, wards, pharmacies, and external medical units
- Load and unload goods, ensuring accuracy and safe handling
- Complete delivery logs and maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic checks
- Communicate professionally with clinical and support staff
- Support urgent or time‑critical deliveries as required
- Valid UK driving licence with C1 entitlement
- Good knowledge of safe manual handling practices
- Strong reliability, timekeeping, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider logistics team
