Blue Arrow are recruiting for an experienced Labourer/Installer to join an expanding company in West Lothian. We are looking for someone eager to build a long-term career in construction within their industry. Joining a dynamic team, receiving high-quality training, and progressing through a structured development programme.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, landscaping, carpentry, or a similar hands-on trade.

Duties:

  • Carry out general labouring, ground works, kerbing, excavation, landscaping and fencing.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and effectively.
  • Set out and measure sites prior to installations.
  • Assemble any equipment according to manufacturers instructions, specifications and company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Follow safety protocols and always adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
  • Working outdoors on site around Scotland.

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Machine tickets up to 10T, digger and dumper.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment.
  • Full clean, manual driving licence.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in relevant construction industry discipline.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable and attention to quality and safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy items and work in various environments.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake basic disclosure. This is a permanent role, working within a team of 3 or 4 staff, Monday to Friday, overtime is available. Hours - 45 hours per week, plus travel time. All hours over 45 are paid at overtime rate.
