We are currently recruiting for a Temp to Perm QA (or Trainee QA) for a produce specialist depot in Livingston. The successful candidate will need to be able to plan-ahead and think on their feet. Shift: 0600-1500 Rota: Any 5 days out of 7 on a 6 week rotation Rate: £11.44 – £11.88 depending on experience Experience of working within a Production environment would be beneficial, as would some fresh produce knowledge. Relevant experience of working within a fast-paced environment and a good working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures is essential. Full training will be given. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: – Responsible for carrying out production assessments of products. – Record results and allocate according to the customer requirements. – To ensure, by inspection, that finished products comply with specification. – Conduct inspections accurately as and when required in the production schedule. – Calibrate production equipment. – Ensure compliance to customer and product specifications as well as effective problem solving, training and technical assistance as required. – Address problems as soon as they arise with Line Supervisors, Quality Manager and Production Management on an ongoing basis.
