Are you an experienced Catering assistant? Looking for Part time work between school hours? Hold a DBS dated in past year? Can work 4 hours a day between 9.30 – 2pm? As an experienced catering assistant, you will be supporting local schools, care homes and industrial sites catering facilities. Your role will be working with a chef, supporting them to manage the lunch service on site whilst taking an active lead in all cleaning aspects of the role. For immediate work – you will hold a DBS dated in the past year and have experience as a kitchen assistant in busy catering environment We are looking for staff to cover a few different sites – travel may be up to 5-7 miles by public transport Is this you? At least 12 months experience as a catering assistant Used to working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Can work at least 3 days to maximin of 5 during term time Has a level 2 in food hygiene – safety Holds a Current DBS to work with Children You will be working 4 hours a day and be able to commit to at least 3 days a week – maximum 5. We need reliable – experienced staff who WANT to work, enjoy meeting people and love working in busy catering settings We can offer you WEEKLY work ongoing and ad hoc Skills Required: Familiar with working in a commercial Kitchen Been in a catering role previously for at least 6 months Sound understanding of level 2 food hygiene Shifts and jobs are allocated through an app as well as in person – you log in and out daily onto your app ensuring you are paid correctly and on time What\’s in it for you?
