We are currently recruiting an experienced Temporary Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a well-established golf club. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Head Chef looking for sociable working hours in a pleasant, structured environment.

The Role:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Plan and deliver a fresh, seasonal menu for members and visitors
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen team
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and wastage
  • Ensure smooth service for club dining, functions, and events

Hours:

  • Sociable hours
  • Includes weekend working

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef
  • Background in golf club, hotel, or fresh-food environments preferred
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or above)
  • Ability to step into a busy kitchen and lead from the front
