We are seeking HGV Drivers to support with refuse collections for our client in Sudbury, CO10.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
- Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal.
- Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
- Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
- Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use.
- Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
- Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users.
Working Hours
6.30am to 3.00pm, Monday - Friday
What you'll need to succeed
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
- Driver CPC.
- Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clean drivers licence desirable for all staff.
