Our client based in Dumfries and Galloway is looking for someone to join their team on a temp basis to cover maternity leave. This position would be starting 18th May and will be until the end of December 2026, but there's a good chance it will extend until February 2027.
You will be the first point of contact for the business and will be sitting at their reception desk along with a colleague. The reception desk can be quite busy at times, and their office is fast-paced and very reactive, so please only apply for this role if you are used to working in a fast-paced reception/admin office.
- Meeting and greeting customers who have appointments.
- Announcing guests' arrivals to the correct person.
- Answering phone calls and transferring.
- Daily admin duties.
- Working with MS Word and Excel.
- Recording data.
- Placing online orders.
- Helping colleagues with any other requirements.
Skills needed:
- Previous reception experience.
- Admin experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Word and Excel skills.
