We're recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) tramper drivers to support a range of contracts across the North East. If you enjoy varied work, life on the road and consistent hours, this is a great opportunity.
The Role
- Nationwide deliveries across multiple contracts
- Curtainsider, general haulage and trunking work
- 4-5 nights out per week
- Modern fleet and planned routes
- Ongoing, full-time work for the right candidate
Main Duties
- Safe operation of Class 1 articulated vehicles
- Completing deliveries and collections across the UK
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and adhering to driver hours
- Ensuring timely and professional service on all runs
- Maintaining high standards of compliance and presentation
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 6 months' experience (to meet client expectations)
- No more than 6 penalty points - no DR endorsements accepted
- Flexible, reliable and comfortable with nights out
Working Pattern
- Work available Monday to Sunday, depending on contract
- Start times vary by client - from as early as 01:00 onwards
Pay Rates
- Class 1 Mon-Fri Days: £15.50
- Mon-Fri Nights: £16.50
- Saturday: £16.50
- Sunday: £18.00
- OT Days (40+ hours): £19.00
- OT Nights (40+ hours): £21.50
