Location: Cradley Heath

Shift: Monday - Friday 11.30am-1pm

7.5 hours a week

Immediate start - Term time only

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils: Oversee children in the dining hall and on the playground, ensuring they are safe and behave appropriately.
  • Assist students: Help younger children with tasks like cutting up food or opening packaging.
  • Handle first aid: Deal with minor injuries like bumps, cuts, and grazes, and get appropriate help for more serious issues.
  • Set up and clean: Prepare the dining area by setting out tables and chairs and help with clearing away and cleaning up spillages afterward.
  • Ensure safety: Monitor the playground for safety, prevent children from leaving school grounds, and report any concerns about child protection.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
  • Able to commit on an ongoing basis
  • Holds safeguarding training
  • Previous experience working as a lunchtime supervisor or in a school support position
