Class 1 Drivers Required - Widnes

Average weekly pay £964.50 to £1059.00 + Holiday accrual, up to 28 days holiday.

Blue Arrow is recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Widnes.

Immediate starts. Paid assessments available week commencing 24th August, 31st Aug & 7 September.

If you have at least 3 months Class 1 driving experience and are looking for regular, long-term work with excellent pay rates and opportunity for permanent contracts with the UK's largest multinational retailer, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay Rates

  • Monday to Friday: £19.00 per hour
  • Saturday: £20.45 per hour
  • Sunday: £20.45 per hour

Shift Patterns

  • Tuesday to Saturday OR Wednesday to Sunday
  • Start times between 19:00 and 03:00
  • Average 10-12-hour shifts
  • Ad hoc shifts & Weekend only work available
  • Ongoing, continuous work with opportunity for permanent contracts.

The Role

  • Store deliveries
  • 1 to 3 drops per shift
  • All vehicles are pre-loaded
  • Goods are delivered in cages
  • Drivers take cages to the edge of the tail lift and lower the lift
  • Store staff unload the cages from the tail lift
  • Minimal manual handling compared with traditional multi-drop work

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Card
  • Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience
  • Must complete a site induction before starting
