About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative on behalf of our client based in Hartlepool, following significant growth within their business. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a successful and expanding organisation.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous experience within a food manufacturing environment. Full training and ongoing development will be provided on site, offering the opportunity to further enhance your skills within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately preparing, packing, and labelling food products in line with company standards
- Safely operating production machinery and equipment
- Using handheld scanners to record real-time stock data, demonstrating strong attention to detail
- Operating on-site computer systems to follow precise ingredient specifications for manufacturing
- Regular handling loads of up to 20kg independently so applicants must be physically fit and capable
- Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Willingness to work in a chilled environment
- Adhering to all health, safety, and food safety policies and procedures
Pay Rate: £14.44ph
Working Hours: 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am. Full time only, students will not be accepted. Some flexibility around shifts will be required to suit business demand.
