About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative on behalf of our client based in Hartlepool, following significant growth within their business. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a successful and expanding organisation.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous experience within a food manufacturing environment. Full training and ongoing development will be provided on site, offering the opportunity to further enhance your skills within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately preparing, packing, and labelling food products in line with company standards
  • Safely operating production machinery and equipment
  • Using handheld scanners to record real-time stock data, demonstrating strong attention to detail
  • Operating on-site computer systems to follow precise ingredient specifications for manufacturing
  • Regular handling loads of up to 20kg independently so applicants must be physically fit and capable
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily production targets
  • Willingness to work in a chilled environment
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and food safety policies and procedures
Pay Rate: £14.44ph
Working Hours: 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am / 6am - 2pm / 6am - 4pm. Some flexibility around shifts will be required to suit business demand.
