Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an industrial printer/print finisher for their client based in Glasgow, Govan location. This is a long-term ongoing assignment with full-time work for the right candidate after 12 weeks of assignment.
Location: Glasgow, Govan
Working hours/days: Rotational shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 6am - 14:30 pm / backshift 13:30 - 22:00pm
Salary: £26000pa + £3000 shift allowance - DOE
Experience in large format printing required.
Main Accountabilities:
- Operate, troubleshoot & manage finishing products using a range of manual and automated equipment and techniques to fulfil customer requirements.
- Take ownership of jobs to ensure successful outcomes are achieved, meeting client expectations in terms of efficient delivery, quality and accurate adherence to specific instructions.
- Ensure all tools and machinery are maintained and stored securely where appropriate.
- Resolve and escalate internally in a timely manner, should problems emerge during production.
- Deliver work on time and to a high standard as agreed.
- Ensure all activity, tasks and materials are recorded accurately and completely.
- Develop, maintain and update understanding of the branch network and suite of products and services the business provides in order to deliver the best product and service to the client.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively when under pressure of tight deadlines.
- Deliver ad-hoc duties as reasonably required by the manager.
- Treat all materials, substrates and company equipment with care.
- Highlight any stock, machinery or Health and Safety issues to the site lead and management teams as required.
