Permanent Hospitality vacancy - Front of house
Location - Glasgow City Centre
Hourly pay £12.61 (plus overtime at time x and double time)
Working hours - 40 hours per week
Our client based near George Square in Glasgow is looking for someone with Hospitality Front of House experience. Please read the job spec below to find out more.
Job role:
- Setting up for events - these can be internal and external events
- Welcoming guests and attendees
- Setting up and dismantling of AV equipment
- Reporting any faulty equipment or property issues so that it can be repaired or replaced as soon as possible
- Setting up and clearing of refreshments on occasions
- Liaising with events team
- Speaking with guests to resolve any potential issues
- Completing handover reports at end of shift
Required knowledge and skills:
- ESSENTIAL: Experience working with the public
- Experience working in a similar position
- Ability to undertake heavy manual lifting
- Provide a high standard of service to customers using the facilities
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised or as part of a team
- Willingness to work variable and unsocial hours including weekends when required
- Good time management
- Good organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Comfortable opening and closing the building (after training period)
- Good computer skills
