Blue Arrow Edinburgh are recruiting for a temporary Stores Officer for our Public Sector client located in Edinburgh City Centre. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment.
- Experience in using ERP/Stock/E-Procurement systems to receive and issue goods.
- Good level of health and safety awareness.
- Positive attitude to work with the ability to work within a team of stores officers.
- Flexibility to work between sites when required.
This position is for 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check and put away stock deliveries.
- Pick and issue materials as required.
- Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies.
- Keep the stores area clean, organised and safe.
- Support regular stock takes.
- Follow health & safety and company procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Previous stores or warehouse experience desirable.
- Good attention to detail and basic record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
