Blue Arrow is recruiting for a fixed term Community Work Order Supervisor to join a busy and dedicated Unpaid Work Team within Justice Services. This team oversees individuals who are completing Court Orders with an unpaid work requirement, supporting them to carry out meaningful work that benefits the local community.
As a Community Work Order Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising service users as they complete their hours. This may take place within a workshop environment or out on site at project locations across the area. You will work closely with colleagues to encourage compliance, promote positive engagement, and ensure that service users meet the requirements of their Court Orders.
You will also help identify and develop project opportunities that provide value to local communities. The role involves working with diverse, complex and often challenging individuals, so strong communication skills, resilience, and a supportive approach are essential.
This role is classed as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to join the PVG Scheme or complete a Scheme update check before a formal offer can be made.
