The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We are recruiting for an experienced Catering Assistant to work with our client based in Brent. The school has 750 pupils from years 7 to 13, and therefore requires an experienced Catering Assistant to work in the fast-paced school kitchen. You will be required to work 22.5 hours per week, (10am - 2:30pm), term time only (38 weeks).

You must have:

  • Food Safety and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates
  • Satisfactory references will be sought
  • Must be able to work quickly

Duties will include:

  • Food preparation
  • Setting up and clearing the lunch halls, including sweeping and mopping the floor, wiping tables, checking cutlery and plates for the following day
  • Pot washing and loading the dishwasher
  • Cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day
  • Responsible for giving out meals to those with allergies
  • Working in 6th Form Cafe (on rotation) - stock vending machine, sell snacks and lunch
