The Role: As a Van Delivery driver, you will play a key role in delivering goods and services to clients, driving the company's van to various locations in line with their individual agreements. You'll be responsible for safely lifting and handling heavy crates as part of your deliveries, ensuring that the client spaces remain pristine and reflect our client's high standards. Your meticulous inspections and keen eye for detail will ensure that the client's spaces continue to be places that are worth leaving home for.
Responsibilities include:
- Picking, packing and delivering food and beverage items daily to client sites throughout London.
- Conducting detailed inspections of cleaning and maintenance tasks completed by suppliers and the client's staff across various office areas.
- Ensuring that all spaces, including individual offices, communal areas and toilets meet the client's stringent cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Documenting inspection results, highlighting any areas of concern or non-compliance, and reporting these to the Operations team.
- Assessing the effectiveness of cleaning procedures and recommending enhancements where necessary.
- Managing inventory checks for food and beverage items and other services, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained.
- Maintaining and organising our warehouse to a high standard.
Must have's:
- 25 years old+ for insurance purposes.
- Full UK driving licence, B category (up to 3.5 tonne).
- Delivery into high-end office space (most of the time OOH but clients may be on site therefore very presentable).
- Good attention to detail for picking/packing food and beverage items accurately.
- Previous driving experience of 3.5 tonne panel vans.
- General manual handling and food hygiene awareness (training will be provided).
