Position: Relief Chefs (Various Levels)

Location: Derby & Derbyshire

Rate: £16-£18 per hour

About the Role

Are you a kitchen whiz who can hit the ground running? We\’re on the hunt for a relief chef who knows their way around a busy pass, doesn\’t panic under pressure, and can bring the flavour wherever they go.

We are seeking skilled and reliable Relief Chefs to join our team on a flexible, temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in dynamic kitchen environments with supportive staff.

We need someone who can jump in when our regular chefs take a well‑earned break – could be a day, a week, or a full month, or even to support during peak periods to offer an extra pair of hands. You\’ll be the hero that saves the service!

What We\’re Looking For

• Strong culinary background – from Chef de partie to Head Chef
• Proven experience in hotel kitchens, banqueting, or large-scale catering
• Ability to step into different kitchens and hit the ground running
• High standards of hygiene, presentation, and professionalism
• Punctual, dependable, and calm under pressure

Someone who can be flexible be able to work day and night shifts dependant on when the clients need cover
