Hours: Monday - Friday 8am till 4pm no weekends

Are you passionate about preparing healthy, nutritious meals for little ones? We're on the hunt for a superstar Nursery Chef to whip up tasty, healthy meals for our little foodies! This isn't just any kitchen job - it's a chance to make a difference, one delicious meal at a time.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Creating fresh, yummy meals and snacks for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
- Cooking with care - catering for allergies and dietary needs.
- Keeping our kitchen sparkling clean and fully stocked.
- Working in partnership with nursery staff to support children's well-being.
- Cooking and preparing for lunch service, snack & teatime service.
- Taking responsibility for catered dietary requirements and ensuring communication to team members.
- Ensuring high levels of standards within hygiene & cleanliness on site at the nurseries.
- Adhering to all health and safety on site, and ensuring all internal and external requirements are met, with all relevant temperature paperwork completed.
- Putting away deliveries.
- Assisting with other areas of the kitchen including pot washing.
- Ability to work with children, in preparing fun snacks and baking sessions.
You'll Be Perfect If You:
- Have experience in a kitchen (nursery or school setting is a bonus!)
- Know your way around food hygiene (Level 2 certificate required)
- Are organised, creative, and love working around children
- Can turn veggies into magic!
- Have previous experience as a chef/cook level within the last 2 years, within a DBS controlled environment or children environment.
- Have flexibility in shift patterns including weekends if needed.
- Have experience within the education sector, cooking for either small & large schools both primary secondary and nurseries.
- Possess great communication and teamwork skills.
- Have a Level 2 Health and Safety Certificate (ideal but not essential as training is provided).
- Have food allergen certificates.
- Have a passion for food.
- Can work under pressure.
- Have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (due to certain locations).
- Have an in-date Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months ideally on the new updated service programme.

Working Hours: All of our nurseries offer Monday to Friday day shifts anything from 7/8am starts till 2/3pm, perfect for people looking for a new work-life balance. We can also add on extra shifts on the weekend to boost any hours or pay.
The Commute: As we cover a large number of locations across Stafford and Staffordshire your commute will vary. If you have a car and are flexible with locations, great. If you're limited to public transport, we'll only send you to places that have public transport links and provide you with all the information you will need to get there. The more flexible you are the more we can offer you.
