Location: Raynesway, Derby (relocating to Ilkeston within the next few weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour (£13.00 per hour for candidates with relevant experience)
We are currently recruiting Paint Preparation Operatives for a well-established manufacturing company that is experiencing continued growth. Initially based at their Raynesway site in Derby, the position will move to a new facility in Ilkeston within the coming weeks.
This is a hands-on role that would suit candidates with experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, workshop, or production environments. Experience using sanders, abrasive tools, sandpaper, or similar equipment would be advantageous.
The Role
Preparing products and components ready for painting
Sanding and finishing surfaces to the required standard
Using abrasive tools and equipment safely and effectively
Carrying out visual quality checks
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Supporting production activities while ensuring high quality standards are met
What We're Looking For
Experience using sanders, abrasive tools, sandpaper, or similar equipment
Previous manufacturing, engineering, automotive, workshop, or production experience
Good attention to detail
A practical, hands-on approach to work
Reliable and hard-working attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
