Purpose of the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Workload Resource Planner to join their team in April. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective scheduling and coordination of both Field and Office-based colleagues to ensure operational capacity aligns with business workload demands. The role focuses on optimising resource availability, improving efficiency, and supporting delivery performance through proactive planning and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule rotas and manage shrinkage for Office and Field teams to effectively balance resource against forecasted demand.
- Oversee, manage, and optimise planned workload to ensure maximum efficiency across operational teams.
- Continuously monitor resource requirements, reviewing business changes and identifying potential capacity gaps.
- Utilise multiple planning platforms and systems to maximise daily operational capability.
- Manage and release engineer capacity to third-party clients via supplier portal platforms.
- Analyse and use data and reports to align workload with available resources, highlighting trends and recommendations.
- Provide clear and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders through various channels.
- Carry out administrative duties across different systems and platforms to support planning and operational functions.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience working with automated scheduling platforms.
- Demonstrable experience using data, reports, and performance insights to support planning decisions.
- Proven experience in diary and resource management within an operational or scheduling environment.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).
- Strong Excel skills (Level 3 or equivalent).
