We are on the lookout for Catering Assistants to support the school meals service across Keyworth, Nottingham. This role also requires you to perform cleaning duties around the school during your shift times as well as catering during lunch hours.
What you will be doing:
- Helping prepare and serve food and drinks
- Clearing tables and keeping dining areas tidy
- Operating tills during lunch service
- Unpacking deliveries and organising ingredients
- Washing up and keeping kitchen areas clean
- Following food hygiene and safety guidelines
- Providing a warm, welcoming service to students and staff
- Cleaning corridors, toilets, and main school areas
What we are looking for:
- Food Hygiene Level 1 (dated within the last 12 months)
- Willingness to clean and help in all areas
- Enhanced DBS (child) dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Good communication and initiative
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Previous catering experience is helpful but not essential
