We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Kerbside Driver with a Class 2 (Category C) licence to join our waste and recycling team in Newtownabbey. You'll be responsible for the collection of recyclable materials from residential areas, working as part of a dedicated crew.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a Class 2 vehicle along designated kerbside collection routes.
- Assist with loading recyclable materials into the vehicle.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
- Ensure all collections are completed safely and on schedule.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
- Follow all health & safety and environmental regulations.
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
- Physically fit - this is a hands-on role.
- Previous experience in waste collection is desirable.
- Team player with a strong work ethic.
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.13.
- Daytime hours - no nights or weekends.
