We are currently recruiting for Part-time Catering Support in Loughborough 9-4.30pm - Various Shifts £12ph.
We have exciting opportunities available: We are seeking reliable and organized Catering Assistants to join our friendly team. While previous experience in a similar catering role and knowledge of food hygiene standards are preferred, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide a welcoming and efficient food service to pupils and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience. Greet and interact with pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Address any queries or special requests promptly and courteously.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that salad counters and serving areas are clean, well-stocked, and ready for each meal service. Regularly check and replenish food items, utensils, and condiments. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Assist in Food Preparation: Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as needed, such as chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling sandwiches. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Assist in the preparation of special dietary meals as required.
