We are looking for a Transport Administrator to join a busy team working Monday to Friday 10pm to 6am, paying £14.00 per hour. You will be responsible for assisting the Transportation Manager with all day to day transportation activities. Helping develop efficient transport operations and optimizing the existing strategies will be a part of your job role. Besides, you should be able to prepare transportation schedules and assign drivers. Responsibilities Coordinating with the Transportation team regarding transportation planning and strategies Reviewing customer requirements and suggesting vehicle types and freight charges Ensuring compliance with the safety standards and transportation department SOPs Handling any customer complaints and processing the urgent ones to the Senior Management Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods Coordinating loading and unloading activities Scheduling vehicle maintenance appointments Receiving customer requests and bookings Planning daily transportation schedules and assigning drivers Performing administrative duties such as preparing and maintaining shipment documents, invoices, and logbook entries.
