Job Purpose
To carry out high-quality TIG/MIG welding on aluminium components, ensuring precision and durability. The role also involves general workshop duties, preparation of materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG/MIG Welding: Perform accurate TIG/MIG welding on aluminium parts and assemblies to meet required specifications.
- Material Preparation: Cut, clean, and prepare aluminium components prior to welding.
- Quality Control: Inspect welds for accuracy and strength, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- General Duties: Assist with workshop organisation, cleaning, and other tasks as required.
- Health & Safety: Follow all safety procedures, including wearing PPE and maintaining a safe workspace.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other operatives and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG/MIG welding, specifically with aluminium (uncoded accepted)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
