We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations within a busy welding and fabrication environment. This is a key role responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly, maintaining high safety standards, and leading operational activities across the workshop and warehouse. You will act as the main point of contact for production performance, staff coordination, and quality expectations, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily welding and fabrication operations to ensure efficient workflow.
- Supervise production staff and support team development.
- Maintain and enforce Health & Safety standards across the site.
- Ensure compliance with RWC EN 1090 (1, 2, & 3) requirements.
- Manage warehouse activity including goods in/out, stock control, and material handling.
- Monitor production targets, deadlines, and quality checks.
- Complete operational reporting and maintain accurate documentation.
- Liaise with management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support with training, problem-solving, and technical welding queries.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a Welding Supervisor or Production Supervisor role.
- Strong knowledge of EN 1090 standards (1, 2 & 3).
- Good understanding of welding processes and fabrication methods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or workshop operations environment.
- Confident IT skills, including Excel and general systems literacy.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support a production team.
