Salary: £28k (room for movement for the right candidate - speak to Jaz)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 3:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)

BlueArrow are offering 12 weeks with weekly pay, before joining our client permanently on competitive salary and great company benefits. Our client is seeking an experienced Head Chef who can inspire and develop a dedicated team, while crafting delicious, hearty British classics for hardworking staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
- Manage and train a team of 4 General Assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Cook breakfast and lunch, adhering to our new 3-week rotating menu while adding your own creative flair.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain accurate administrative records.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement innovative catering solutions.
- Motivate and Lead: Inspire and manage a team of kitchen staff, including four General Assistants, fostering a collaborative and positive environment.
- Work alongside Catering Manager to manage budgets and financial expectations.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating hearty British classics like pies, pasties, and more.
- Ability to motivate and develop staff, ensuring a high level of performance and job satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with staff and clients.
