Blue Arrow Bristol are recruiting Class 1 Trunk Drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth in Bristol. The client is happy to accept newly qualified drivers, however, a little bit of experience would be preferred.
The roles will involve:
- Trunking to other depots (mainly Midlands)
- Performing yard duties such as vehicle checks, coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Getting products ready for Class 2 drivers to deliver during the day
- Other duties as and when required
The roles are working Monday to Friday with start times between 14:00-20:00. The client is fairly flexible on the start times, so you could choose the time that suits you best. The shifts will be between 10-12 hours long, completing around 50 hours per week on average. The pay rate is £18 per hour.
All drivers will need to complete a driving assessment before work commences. The roles will be starting immediately, although we will be happy for drivers to work through their notice if needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Full UK Class C+E Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in a Class 1 or Class 2 role is preferred
- Data available on your tachograph card displaying work over the last 6 months
- We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR/DG/CD/DD/BA on a licence
