Blue Arrow Bristol are looking for Class 2 Drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth near Bristol. The roles will involve working as a '2 man crew' delivering kitchens, fitted bedrooms and furniture to customers' homes. Please note that the roles will involve heavy lifting.
The pay rate is £17.00 per hour and the client also pays quarterly bonuses. Our client is happy to accept new drivers with very little or no experience - all the training (tacho rules and usage, safe lifting practices etc.) will be provided. Candidates will need to pass a driving assessment and, providing that you are successful, the work will be starting immediately. The client is, of course, happy for you to work your notice if necessary.
Candidate Requirements:- If you are a newly qualified driver, previous experience in a 3.5T driving role would be preferred.
- Valid UK Cat C (Class 2 / LGV C / HGV C) driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards.
- Willingness to do manual hand-balling.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Good customer service skills.
- All the training (tacho rules, safe lifting practices etc.) provided by the client.
- Weekly pay.
- Holiday pay accrued on top of your weekly wages.
- Permanent contract after 12 weeks.
- Blue Arrow App where you can submit your timesheets, request holidays, track your pay, update your personal details etc.
