This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness. You will be involved in the day-to-day preparation and service of food and beverages for students, staff, and visitors across campus dining facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of food and beverages
- Serving food and drinks in a friendly and professional manner
- Operating tills and handling cash or card payments where required
- Ensuring all food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards are followed
- Clearing tables, washing up, and maintaining clean kitchen and service areas
- Stock rotation and basic replenishment of supplies
- Supporting colleagues during busy service periods
What We're Looking For
- Previous catering or customer service experience
- A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including mornings, evenings, or weekends
- A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage
