Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced Chef Managers to work with our client in the Telford and surrounding areas. Working in an education setting, your main duties will include:
- Overseeing overall management of catering operations
- Cooking from fresh following a set weekly menu rota
- Leading a small kitchen team in delivering a timely service
- Being aware of allergen and dietary needs
- Stock ordering
- Stock takes
- Accurate recording of daily and weekly paperwork including temperature checks
- Serving on the counter where necessary
- Ensuring high standards of kitchen and food hygiene are maintained at all times.
Skills Required:
- Experience in education/contract catering
- Knife skills
- Knowledge of stock takes and ordering
- Management experience
Qualifications Needed:
- Food hygiene level 2 or 3
- Allergens
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
- Previous experience in catering management preferably in an education setting
